Hello to all of you. Is your baby running around this hot summer in just a diaper? You may need to stock up on great new Firefly Quick Dry Colors.
Stock Up Time We have great stock of about a dozen colors of Firefly Quick Dry Color Diapers currently available in each size. A few parents told me they wanted to see more earthy colors, so we have made two not dyed before: Dark Sage and Golden Brown. Our nighttime diapers Firefly Sleep Tights are also in stock in every size, including Extra Small and Extra Large. Stock of regular Quick Dry Diapers in natural is getting low, though, which brings me to the bad news / good news. Links in the Supply Chain The bad news is: a broken link in our organic cotton supply chain has left us without as much natural fabric as we expected to have this summer. The good news is: until we have more of our regular undyed fabric available, we will be more creative in our production. First, within the next couple of weeks we will have a fantastic warm, summer rainbow of Quick Dry Color Diapers with undyed organic cotton sherpa inside. These are cushy soft diapers, though they do require you to remove pills (tiny bits of balled up cotton) after washing to keep them looking beautiful. We will send you an announcement when they arrive. We will also be creating more multi-color Clown diapers. Every time we make these, we say we don’t have plans to do it again. We do know that our customers love these diapers, so we’re guessing you won’t mind if they show up twice a year. These should arrive late July or early August. Easy Wool Colors Need diapers covers? Time to move up a size? Not only do we have a great supply of Easy Wool covers in our regular natural wool, we have the slightly heavier organic wool. If you are looking for the highest quality wool knit, this is it. If you don’t see the Easy Wool color you want listed, let us know. We are happy to take suggestions for the next colors to be dyed. Where Did the Pictures Go? Finally, you may notice that images of babies modelling diapers are gone from our website. Along with many others in the community of cloth diaper manufacturers, we have removed these photos. For an explanation, please see the website DiaperImages.com. Parents in our online community have organized and come together to protect children and their images. It has been encouraging to see people working together in public forums and in small groups for a terribly important cause.
